Abilities
⯌ Demonic Heritage
Due to Vergil's demonic heritage, he possesses the cliches of superhuman strength, speed, agility, stamina, and overall durability. His strength and speed may lessen as he expends his energy or suffers injuries from fights, which can reduce his overall effectiveness in a battle. Regarding his strength, Vergil is able to fend off creatures significantly larger than himself or do things like literally rip his own son's arm even when in a weakened state. As far as his speed and agility are concerned, Vergil can often move faster than the human eye can track. For example, his slashes with his sword can be quick enough to prevent rain from hitting the ground or allow him to catch/deflect bullets mid-air. It's notable that Yamato's own power heightens Vergil's already incredible speed and agility. In terms of his durability, that which would normally kill a human will be something Vergil will automatically walk off. His accelerated healing means that as soon as whatever has caused the injury has been removed, his body will begin to immediately repair the damage.
⯌ Demonic Energy Vergil can use his own demonic energy to manipulate objects. In particular, he tends to use this demonic energy to create mirage blades, which are spectral blades that will break upon impact with their target. These blades can be used as projectiles or be used to create a protective circle around himself. He can also create a spectral version of his father's blade Force Edge that's known as Mirage Edge. Unlike the mirage blades, Mirage Edge does not break upon impact. He can also use his demonic energy to create a doppelganger of himself (in SDT) to fight alongside him.
⯌ Sin Devil Trigger The tl;dr version of this is that Devil Trigger is a form demons (or those with demonic heritage) take to unleash the full extent of their abilities both physical and supernatural. SDT is an even stronger form of that. For Vergil, this includes the transformation mentioned earlier in addition to heightening his abilities both natural (strength, speedy, and healing) and through Devil Arms like Yamato. He also has the ability to fly due to the wings. When Vergil activates his SDT, there is a force wave strong enough to knock others back onto the ground, protecting him just long enough to complete the transformation. Vergil can transform both in and out of SDT at will, but he cannot maintain SDT forever.
⯌ Teleportation In addition to be superhuman levels of quick, Vergil also has the ability to teleport even in the absence of Yamato.

I am also down to write smut, but I'll be real: smut is like action sequences for me in that if it's just for the sake of it, it's going to be too mechanical to hold my interest in writing it out. If there isn't something a little more going on emotionally/mentally in terms of the relationship or the characters as individuals, I'd rather just FTB and move on. Otherwise, let's get spicy! One day, I'll get a place for my central kink list, but today isn't that day.
⯌ Offensive Subjects & Triggers Rape/sexual assault, child abuse/death, animal abuse/death, and suicide/suicidal ideation are all topics that I am willing to have present in threads, but ask that you appropriately warn for when they are mentioned. Deeper discussions/explorations of these topics are still fine, but I would ask that there is a check-in before and there are no gratuitous/graphic descriptions. Substance abuse/addiction can be a difficult subject for me. I am fine with mentions of use of the "socially acceptable" substances (or their equivalents) such as nicotine/vaping, marijuana, and alcohol use. Illicit substances that are often categorized as illegal or "harder," I would ask that you warn for mentions of their use or addiction to these substances. Please check in with me prior to anything beyond a mention. The subject of overdosing is not something I am comfortable playing with. If it is not avoidable, please let me know and we can figure something out together. In general, if you're uncertain about any of these topics or others, I'll never be mad if you check beforehand! ⯌ Physical Affection
Vergil would significantly prefer not to be touched. I do not, however, discourage from trying to touch him on an ooc level. If it's ic for your character to be physically affectionate, I say absolutely go for it. Just understand that attempts to touch him will likely be tolerated at best or brought to an end earlier than was likely intended at worst, but it's unlikely that he will return the affection unless he's really developed a strong bond/relationship with that individual. He will not lash out physically though in response. Fear not! No broken bones for trying to give the guy a hug or something.
⯌ Relationships & Sex I'm open to shipping with any characters that are mid to late 20s or older! This is regardless of gender, although Vergil will lean significantly more toward women than men. It will, however, be a very slow burn just given the mountain of issues Vergil has with letting himself be vulnerable and allowing himself to have connections with others. No polyamorous relationships or casual hook-ups for that reason! Those just aren't his style.
⯌ Physical Violence I'm fine with getting into a physical confrontation with Vergil, but just be warned that it will be extremely difficult to actually do much harm to him or otherwise defeat him unless your name is Dante. Vergil has a lot of skill and power behind him, and will likely emerge the victor. And you're right, that is super annoying.
⯌ Psychic/Telepathy/Mental Violence There will be resistance from Vergil for any attempts at that kind of manipulation or harm, but unlike a physical fight, he's not going to be quite as impervious to those attempts. Likewise, if Vergil is in a weakened or exhausted state, he will put up less of a fight to these attempts just because his overall reserves are going to be significantly lower. That being said, I do ask that you check-in prior to attempting this just so we're on the same page and to avoid any confusion!
⯌ Magic Similar to the preceding, there's definitely more room to mess about here than with physical violence. Vergil's demonic heritage allows him to detect supernatural power, particularly that of a demonic nature, but detecting it and potentially having some understanding of it is not the same thing as having total resistance to it. Check in with me first so we can hash out where there might be some resistance vs. a complete lack of it!
